November 3-30: Townsville Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Centre. An exhibition of traditional and contemporary artworks by artists of the nine tribes represented by Girringun Aboriginal Corporation.

Land and Sea Conference, October 2007 (Cardwell, from 2007-10-08 09:00 to 2007-10-12 17:00) — by Girringun

The Girringun Aboriginal Corporation hosted the 2nd National Indigenous Land & Sea Management Conference in Cardwell, North Queensland from 8 to 12 October 2007. This was followed by the Great Australian Corroboree - a major cultural festival showcasing the dance culture and arts of Rainforest Aboriginal peoples.
